i am 34 ,this "Ultimate Break Beats"collection is an important part of my teenage and of the beginning of my work as an hip hop and r and b producer,it's great to see that it's now available for everybody !! the journey to the roots of hip hop is finally endless.... Sure Shot Brothers
SSB I'm from the same era and remeber grabbing 1-3 vol's every payweek when these were dropping. I agree with you and I'm glad these younglings can understand the roots and foundation. Even if it's not OG vinyl or whatnot. Enjoy all.
This is extraordinary! This shit was the bedrock of so much amazing rap back in the day. Was it De La Soul who got the shit sued out of them for using some obscure French sample that ended the sampling hey-day? I can't even imagine what "Fear of a Black Planet" would've sounded like without the shit Terminator X was using! Thanks again for your generosity!!!
Thank you from Portugal. I do not normally download stuff, but to have this on my mp3 player is to be able to revive a part of my own history. thank you.
Holy snap! This is the shit right here. As a massive fan of hip-hops golden years, you cannot believe how long I've looked for collections such as these. Though I don't often download music - this ones too important. So interesting to hear stuff from the likes of Ultramagnetic, Run DMC, De La,Marley Marl etc.
I'm 37 now and started listenin' to hip hop/electro in '84... I produce a little for fun..and these are essential.. You have know idea how many old school tracks I've been encouraged to listen to as I start to download these gems (: Thank you so very much man.. Sein
