i am 34 ,this "Ultimate Break Beats"collection is an important part of my teenage and of the beginning of my work as an hip hop and r and b producer,it's great to see that it's now available for everybody !! the journey to the roots of hip hop is finally endless....

I'm from the same era and remeber grabbing 1-3 vol's every payweek when these were dropping.
I agree with you and I'm glad these younglings can understand the roots and foundation. Even if it's not OG vinyl or whatnot.

This is extraordinary! This shit was the bedrock of so much amazing rap back in the day. Was it De La Soul who got the shit sued out of them for using some obscure French sample that ended the sampling hey-day? I can't even imagine what "Fear of a Black Planet" would've sounded like without the shit Terminator X was using! Thanks again for your generosity!!!

unfortunately, there is a problem with VOLUME FIVE. Side Two refuses to unpack.

I have the original vinyl, but this saves me a bunch of ripping. thankyou for the time and effort it took to post them.

Holy snap! This is the shit right here. As a massive fan of hip-hops golden years, you cannot believe how long I've looked for collections such as these. Though I don't often download music - this ones too important. So interesting to hear stuff from the likes of Ultramagnetic, Run DMC, De La,Marley Marl etc.
